Freebit technology in award winning headphones
We congratulate our client Freebit with success and recognition and having won several prizes. Their licensee Monster has launched their new product iSport Immersion In-Ear Headphones which won the prize ”Best Overall Workout Headphones of 2011”. Freebit has contributed attachment technology protected by patents and a design which also is protected by registration and design patents.

Stokke AS and the Tripp Trapp® chair succeeded in dispute against copyist in the Court of Appeal
Trumf AS offered a children's chair called "Oliver" to it's members in a customer loyalty program. Stokke AS claimed that the chair was a copy of it's well-known Tripp Trapp chair, and that their copyright and trademark rights related to this product were infringed.

Future Patent Prosecution Highway agreements made possible for Norway
Amendments in the Norwegian patent legislation will allow for Patent Prosecution Highway agreements between the Norwegian Industrial Property Office and foreign patent offices. This will hopefully lead to better and faster examination of patent applications pursued among the parties to the agreements.
